SMALLRIG MINI MATTE BOX OVERVIEW

The Mini Matte Box Lite from SmallRig will give your equipment an even lighter and smaller matte box. The clamp-on matte box is compatible with small mirrorless or DSLR cameras and only weights 108g. It is constructed of components composed of aluminium and plastic as well as strong but lightweight carbon fibre material. It comes with one filter tray and four adapter rings to connect the matte box to various lenses, and it can accepts multiple 4 x 5.65" filters. The matte box can support a maximum load of 1kg.

The top flag made of carbon fibre that came with the kit may be folded down to cover the front of the matte box and shield the front of your lens from glare or bright reflections. With its 95mm diameter opening and 67, 72, 77, and 82mm threaded adapter rings, the matte box can accommodate lenses of various lengths and diameters. Additional lens diameters can be accommodated by using an adapter ring kit that is sold separately. It also supports circular filters with a maximum diameter of 92.5mm.
