Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens

The EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Lens is a stylish and functional standard zoom for Canon APS-C format DSLRs that is ideal for everyday shooting. This lens covers wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives and has a 28.8–88mm equivalent focal length range. It also has an optical image stabiliser that can reduce the appearance of camera shake by up to four stops for crisper handheld shooting. The optical design includes an aspherical element to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion and increase sharpness and resolution. A Super Spectra coating has also been used to reduce flare and ghosting. Additionally, an STM stepping AF motor is utilised to achieve full-time manual focus override in addition to rapid and nearly silent autofocus performance.
